Clearasil – SMS Campaign – "SMS For A Free Sample" – STANDARD RATE SMS CAMPAIGN
Boots conducted a washroom advertising campaign with The Letter Corporation. Posters were placed in female washrooms in Village cinemas across Australia. Girls were asked to SMS their name and address to request a free sample of the product.

In the space of 6-8 weeks, almost 3000 girls had responded. As this was the first time this sort of campaign had been conducted. The interesting thing was, many of these girls also sent in their friends' and boyfriends' details as well. True viral marketing!
